Develop material take offs for conceptual, preliminary, & ROM cost estimates by calculating a square foot cost for all CSI Divisions involved based on the Scope of Work provided, and then apply necessary markups such as but not limited to; Contractor\'s overhead/profit, & contingency/risk factor. Also Highly Skilled, & Trained at preparing detailed, construction cost estimates at definitive levels of project design usually performed at 35%, 75% & 100% design phases. Also, change order cost estimates during design and construction phases for negotiation purposes with Client/Owner, General Contractor, & Lower-Tiered Subcontractors. Cost estimating involving, unit pricing, wage rate development, & securing vendor quotes for accurate cost estimates. Developed the ability to create material take offs for all trades / disciplines involved, but not limited to; Heavy Civil / Site Utilities (Wet, & Dry), Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, Plumbing, FLS, & Electrical. Coordinate with all Stakeholders in the Preparation of the Scope of Work for the Cost Estimates, Labor Duration, & Basis of Estimate. Past Experience with Parsons Federal Unit-Project Controls Group, Certified Pricer Knowledgeable of DCMA, DCAA, FAR, DFARS, TINA, Rules, & Regulations; Support Pricing, & Compliance, Centralized Pricing, Contracts, & Business Development with the Preparation, & 3rd Party Review of Various Types of Engineering Man Hour Estimates, & Cost Volume Proposals for Current & Future Federal Unit Projects, & Contracts. This Process Involves a High-Level of Detailed Accuracy to make certain that Indirect Cost, & it’s Various Components such as Fringe, Overhead, G&A, & MSHR Rates are Correctly Applied to Applicable Direct Cost. Past Experience with Parsons Federal Unit-Design/Bid/Build and Construction Management, & Heavy Construction Cost Estimating of Various types of Facilities for the Federal Aviation Administration, NASA/JPL, U.S. CBP, & Other Federal, Regional, & Local Agencies.
