ABOUT EDWARD THOMAS

Diligent, articulate, experienced Director and Project Manager with strong planning and analytical skills, who has held senior positions and worked across multiple sectors in both operational and strategic roles.My Current role involves the management of 50 staff across 22 academies within the UK. I hold responsibility for the management of Health and Safety for all ATT academies, the development and implementation of ATT’s Estates Strategy involving the creation of a formulaic funding allocation system to ensure that our funding is directed to areas of highest priority need. This is to ensure we preserve the long term integrity and infrastructure of our diverse Estate comprising of 80 blocks with a value in excess of a Since October 2013 I have secured more than of condition improvement funding for the Trust by tripling our annual capital allocation from the ESFA leading to ATT receiving the highest level of investment of all Multi Academy Trusts within the UK. In addition, I have written successful bids for across the ACMF, CIF and PSBP2 programmes. My win ratio of 70% has secured from the Priority School Building 2 Programme alone to redevelop buildings of extremely poor quality. In the case of PSBP2 I have secured self-delivery of two projects from the ESFA including the delivery of a project to build a 1350 place new build academy in Mildenhall, Suffolk which forms part of a wider multi-faceted community hub bringing all public services to one site backed by the Cabinet Office\'s One Public Estate initiative and is the first of its kind in the UK. Additionally i am responsibile for the project management of all incoming schools into the trust, pupil place planning through securing basic need funding for expansion of ATT academies, creation of estates policies and procedures and business development. During the 2016/17 academic year I successfully raised of additional income for ATT.
