ABOUT EDWARD TANGCHITNOB

Dr. Edward Tangchitnob is the Medical Safety Officer for Robotics, Digital, and Advanced Imaging at Johnson & Johnson MedTech, guiding safety strategies for the robotic surgery platforms Ottava and Monarch. He collaborates with teams across human factors design engineering, R&D, clinical engineering, regulatory, and quality functions.A fellowship-trained Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon, Dr. Tangchitnob previously led Emanate Health’s robotic surgery program, earning certifications as Centers of Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecology and Robotic Surgery. A certified Master Robotic Surgeon, he has trained and certified multidisciplinary surgical teams and advanced outcomes in robotic surgery.Dr. Tangchitnob holds a Bachelor\'s degree in Electrical and Biomedical Engineering and Doctor of Medicine from Tufts University, completed his OB/GYN residency at Cedars Sinai Medical Center (Los Angeles, CA), and a robotic surgery fellowship at Scripps Clinic (San Diego, CA). He also earned an MBA from the USC Marshall School of Business, aligning his clinical expertise with strategic leadership.Certified as a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, he is a Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists with a practice focus designation in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery(MIGS). Founder of Timeless Health MD, he also has startup experience with his practice focusing on functional integrative medicine, bioidentical hormone therapy, and combination laser and facial injectable aesthetic skin therapies for women and men.
