ABOUT EDWARD T. LEWIS
As a Section 3 Administrator at Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency (SHRA), I assist the agency\'s resident services program in developing and implementing training programs for public housing residents. I have over four years of experience in this role, and I have successfully collaborated with various city and county staff, community colleges, workforce agencies, and community-based organizations to provide outreach, engagement, and support for marginalized and low-income communities in the Greater Sacramento Region. I have a strong background in program development and evaluation, grant research and writing, and social services, with nearly 20 years of public service at the state and county levels. I have also participated in several statewide research projects addressing health disparities in communities of color. My mission is to help public housing residents access career opportunities and improve their quality of life. I am also a certified Dare to Lead trainer, and I have received multiple awards for my individual and team service.
