   Manage the U.S. Coast Guard\'s (CG) Partnership in Education (PIE) Program which partners CG units across the country with schools and community-based organizations to enhance the well-being, academic achievements, and career opportunities of youth. In addition to supporting the Coast Guard\'s JROTC Program and Recruiting Command, the PIE Program also helps promote employee engagement, volunteerism, and community relations.During the 20••••24 PIE Program cycle, 2,814 Coast Guard members from 208 units across the country volunteered 9,399 hours engaging with 68,721 students from 352 partner schools and other community-based organizations.Compared to the 20••••22 program cycle, unit participation increased 50% and partnerships increased 261%. Volunteer participation, volunteer hours served, and the number of students engaged in activities increased 298%, 654%, and 427%, respectively.During my first 18 months with the Coast Guard, I also effectively fulfilled duties associated with two other vacant positions (Special Emphasis Program Manager and Civil Rights Awards Program Manager), substantially improving the performance and impact of these programs as well.
