ABOUT EDWARD SPENCER
I am part of the Commercial/Product Litigation and External Investigations team at BAT. My role includes overseeing, directing, managing and coordinating the interests of BAT plc and BAT Group companies involved in all types of strategic litigation globally.I previously spent 15 years in private practice at Taylor Wessing LLP in London where I was involved in litigation across a number of key sectors, mainly focussed on life sciences and technology. I also co-led the UK cyber response team which involved assisting businesses impacted by ransomware and other data breach incidents, including regulatory investigations and follow on litigation.During my career I have represented UK and international businesses on the full gamut of commercial disputes, with a particular focus on product liability, supply chain, technology, commercial contract and insurance disputes.
