About Edward Roth
I am currently a project engineer at Power Design Inc. This is a rotational project management program designed to expose me to the inner workings and basics of the construction industry and project management as a whole. As part of the position, my responsibilities include aiding project managers and executives with material delivery, budget balancing, and coordination for several projects across southern Florida. In my previous role I was a mechanical systems engineer at The Raymond Corporation. As part of this role I am responsible for designing and assembling sub systems for use on a variety of different electric and automated material handling equipment. I’m addition to my years in industry I also have several years of hands on experience as a CNC mill operator at Genesis Machining. During my time at Genesis I thought myself to program CNC operations for 3 and 4 axis mills. As my skills progressed, my understanding of how design choices and drawing structure impacts how a part is made. This gives me a unique perspective on the engineering design process.
