Developed and implemented an overall collision quality of repair program (~$250M annually) regarding vehicle claims for certified repair facilities, including OEM (original equipment manufacturer), AM (after-market) suppliers and recyclers to I-CAR (Inter-Industry Conference on Auto Collision Repair) “Gold” class standards. As a SME (subject matter expert) oversee a multitude of projects, including safe-reliable vehicle repairs, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), collision avoidance systems (CAS), vehicle tamper/theft mechanisms, special investigations unit, crash data reconstruction, Vehicle to Vehicle (V2V) and Infrastructure (V2I) technologies, etc. and provide technical expertise in establishing “best practices” for the insurance industry. Collaborate with other insurance agencies/jurisdictions and associations to improve overall customer satisfaction and reduce insurance premiums through quality assurance initiatives and process improvements, including developing a Cost of Quality strategy. Support and develop the Research Council for Automobile Repairs (RCAR) and (I-CAR) Training Initiatives that mutually benefits the North American repair industry, parts suppliers, and consumer. Responsible for the creation of the MPI J. W. Zacharias Physical Damage Research Centre,$6.4M development, a world-class training and research facility in Canada to provide sustainment and technical support for the Manitoba collision repair industry. Developed and successfully delivered the 2017 Light Vehicle Accreditation Agreement (under 4.5 Tonnes) for 260+ accredited repair facilities including quality of repair, OEM certifications, training and shop qualifications. Created process improvements for Training and Research involving repairs on vehicles with complex structural re-enforcements and materials.
