ABOUT EDWARD MORRIS
Ed is a Civil Engineer and asset manager with nearly 20 years’ experience, including 10 years’ operational experience with the Environment Agency (UK).In his current role as the Major Programme Delivery Director, Ed is leading the implementation of a portfolio management approach to enhance the performance of all Jacobs\' Major Projects and Programmes. The project will utilise digital insights and analytics in combination with a practical high performance framework to identify and embed successful innovation and provide support when required.Ed was previously the Asset Management Lead for TEAM2100 an integrated client-supplier 10 year programme to manage London’s flood defences. He was responsible for establishing, implementing and successfully seeking ISO55001 certification within the first two years of programme initiation. Building on this success, he now leads the programme on its journey to ‘world class’ asset management, including undertaking the Water Services Association of Australia (WSAA) benchmarking exercise, comparing the programme with other world leading asset management organisations, learning from and imparting TEAM2100’s successes with this peer network.Ed’s experience encapsulates consultancy, the contracting industry and the Environment Agency from strategic planning through to direct operations. He has led international peer review teams both in the UK and abroad and worked in both local and national asset management teams, with responsibilities including contract management and multi-million-pound asset improvement projects
