Currently undergoing psychiatric rotations with clinical preceptors in California, where I am gaining valuable skills and experience, including- Conducting comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans focused on psychiatric care- Prescribing and managing psychotropic medications in accordance with state and federal regulations- Educating patients and their families about diagnoses, treatment options, medication usage, and potential side effects- Ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, as well as HIPAA standards. On track to graduate from National University on June 15, 2026, with a degree as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). Dedicated to supporting clients of all ages, particularly in pediatric and adolescent psychiatry, I strive to help families and communities cultivate excellence in mental health. As a staff registered nurse in Orthopedic/Urology at Scripps San Diego, a Level 1 trauma hospital, I provide quality patient care by applying my expertise in physiology, chronic illness management, and anatomy. My mission is to enhance the mental health and well-being of the families and communities served through compassion, innovation, and excellence.I have a diverse background in logistics management, finance, and business administration. MBA from NC State and a BS in Finance from UNCW. Before pursuing a career in nursing, I worked as a program manager at Eaton, where I focused on cost reduction and business growth strategies for the vehicle group. Additionally, served as a supply manager in the US Army, where I managed the inventory, distribution, and accounting of organizational supplies and equipment. These experiences have equipped me with strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills, as well as a deep understanding of the operational and financial aspects of running a successful organization.
