   Data Center Operator I have become a lead operator for our new data center in Washington, DC. This environment includes a combination of Palo Alto firewalls, FortiGate firewalls, nexus switches and Cisco APIC. I am responsible for creating all rules and flows in Panorama for end-to-end communication between the USA, France and all of the tenants across the United States. This also includes VSYS creation. Upgrading HA firewalls. My other duties include building tenants to absorb into our environment. Operating Cisco APIC, building EPGs and managing border and leaf switches. Working with other countries to troubleshoot asymmetric routing issues that primarily root from BGP protocols and configurations. I am also responsible for onboarding VX Rails and various other pieces of equipment requiring IP connectivity.Network Engineering Projects Our company continues to purchase other businesses and when this happens our team is required to survey their current networking equipment. From there we are expected to replace/upgrade the entire network infrastructure from top to bottom. Please reference my proficiencies section for further detailsISE/DNA Operations This past year I worked in cooperation with one other engineer to implement Cisco ISE and DNA into our environment. This included the initial builds, policy creation, identity management, certificate imports, software/patch upgrades, and management of all devices and endpoint users in our environment. This included extensive 802.1x policy building, profiling, identity management, guest wireless implementation and template deployment for equipment. DNA is a powerful tool to check the pulse of Cisco infrastructure.Wireless Specialist I am the lead employee of my network team to handle wireless needs. This includes the deployment of wireless APs, wiring, configuration of 9800CLs per site, Flex Connect groups, RF profiles and troubleshooting wireless problems.
