   Propose corrective actions for nonconforming material of internal products & processes. Supported daily manufacturing activities such as review and approval of operation status, Process Authorization Requests (PAR), First Article Inspections (FAI), and Work Instruction approvals in CAPP2 & Solumina (G6/G7.) Evaluated quality control systems and protocols for materials being processed into partially or finished products. Ensured that process control requirements are compliant to Pratt & Whitney (PW) requirements, objectives, and contracts. Ensure Manufacturing Readiness Level (MRL) and Planning & Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) requirements are met. Provide analysis and explanations of testing and inspection plans, methods, and technologies to assure the reliability and conformance of products and processes. Utilized PPAP elements (e.g. PFMEA, MSA, Process Flow, Control Plans, etc.) to identify risk and make recommendations for managing that risk. Worked with product design to devise testing plans, methods, and equipment to assure the reliability of the product. Maintain strong communication with inspector/operator/manufacturing engineering and business unit manager as well as with suppliers/customers like GKN-Sweden, Praxair-North Haven, Budney, and PW-Canada. Conducted over-inspections for various parts throughout CSMC-Middletown (e.g. F135 Shaft) Provided technical support to the inspection and manufacturing communities. Evaluated manufacturing processes and hardware to determine compliance to applicable requirements. Participated in continuous improvement efforts to enhance shop quality signature. Performed data analysis of quality non-conformances. Supported shop non-compliance investigations to determine root causes, identify robust corrective actions and track effectiveness. Supported product escapes investigations and population bounding efforts. Teamed with supplier quality engineering to resolve supplier issues that impact shop hardware.
