I proactively look for Aboriginal business throughout Western Canada and engage discussions with the Aboriginal entrepreneur, business owner(s) and first nations government as to the features and benefits of being a CIBC.client.I do recirpocal cultural awareness from an Aboriginal & corporate perspective. Financial Literacy is important to the general public to enhance the funtamentals of managing money on a daily basis inwhich CIBC is a strong supporter. Another mandate is talent management, look for qualified Aboriginal candidates to work at CIBC.
