Analyze construction drawings and subcontractor proposals to identify value engineering opportunities and verify that the full scope of work is being accurately captured in each change order submitted to the client • Negotiate purchase order amounts with subcontractors to maximize profits on all general contracting projects • Lead team meetings with clients, architects, and engineers to discuss new design changes, unanticipated obstacles, possible resolutions, schedule impacts, cost analysis, change order approvals, and overall progress • Assist in the management of multiple projects, collectively worth $30+ million, concurrently through all stages of development to ensure that projects are completed within the proposed time frame without exceeding budgets • Communicate the project vision, client needs, design changes, logistics, and pertinent details regarding each trade’s respective responsibilities to internal and external stakeholders in a clear and concise manner • Manage smaller scale projects, valued under $1 million, with minimal supervision from senior management
