Chartered Engineer (CEng) with 20+ years of industry experience, including design and construction supervision of multi-disciplinary civil infrastructure projects, gained in the consulting engineering and public sector’s in the UK and Canada.Significant experience covering a broad range of highways and transportation specialisms, including; highway link and junction design (strategic and local roads), pavement engineering and traffic engineering scheme design (pedestrian, cycling and bus priority infrastructure), gained across the full project life cycle from concept design through to implementation and site supervision.Joined Mott MacDonald as a Senior Principal Civil Engineer within the Transport and Mobility Solutions (TMS) division, following 3 years at Capita REI (now part of WSP Global Inc.). Prior to this, was employed by WSP Global Inc. in various roles in the UK and Canada, managing the design of numerous highway engineering projects ranging from small junction improvement schemes to large multi-disciplinary projects for clients such as National Highways, HS2, Transport for London (TfL), Ministry of Transportation Ontario (MTO Canada), and more recently the Ministry of Defence (MoD). Extensive experience working on Design and Build commissions with Tier 1/2 Contractors including Skanska, Laing O’Rourke/Murphy (LM) JV, Morgan Sindall, Balfour Beatty/Vinci JV and John Sisk & Son.Prior to WSP, worked for AECOM in their Local Roads team across various locations in the UK. Gained substantial experience on a variety of highway infrastructure projects for clients such as Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) and various Greater London highway authorities. During my time at AECOM, also undertook secondments at Manchester City Council and TfGM. Prior to this, was employed by Bury Council in various roles from Trainee Technician to Engineer.Member of the Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation (MCIHT) and the Institution of Civil Engineers (MICE).
