Edward L. Johnston Throughout my 40 years in the police service and private sector, I have maintained a high level of training and education, having obtained a Associate, from Columbus State Community College, Bachelor from The Ohio State University and completing a Masters in Education, from AIU. In addition have been certified in Special Subjects Instructor and Private Security Commander Certificates. I have past taught Criminology and Police classes at Columbus State College, Central State University and Eastland Vocational School and in the Private Police Academy’s at Northwest Career Center, Downtown High School, Mid East Vocational School District, Tolls Technical Center as well as an instructor in the Law Enforcement Training Academy. I have served in a major suburban city police department Worthington, Ohio; a Township of Sharon and currently a Special Deputy with the Madison County Sheriffs Department; and as a consultant in police and security municipal governments, colleges, private corporations-currently, as CEO/President of API Security Services & Investigations, Inc. Lastly, since 1979 and recognized since 1989 been apart of our ASIS and I truely believe in our mission, our cause and would truely continue to promote our organization in being elected as Vice Chair.

   Protect and Serve the county of Madison. Has worked in training and development with the MCEA and the Sheriffs Department. Developed and implemented through out the county emergency response, working through the Tolles Technical School students, police, emergency and Sheriffs agencies.
