Ed Rendon has over 25 years of experience as a government relations professional. He has successfully navigated clients through the complex legislative, regulatory and political landscape in both Sacramento and Los Angeles.He has significant expertise working on behalf of a broad spectrum of client interests in the public and private sectors including: education, transportation, tech, major retail chains, health insurance providers, hospitals, long-term care providers, tax and consultancy groups, consumer product and home improvement companies.In 2010, he founded the San Gabriel Valley Civic Alliance, a business advocacy organization specializing in multi-sector collaboration. He serves as executive director for the organization, leading efforts to promote innovative policy solutions and best practices for regional stakeholders.Ed has long been affiliated with a variety of boards and commissions. He was appointed to state, county and city workforce investment boards, community college foundations, labor trust funds, and business advisory committees. Earlier in his career, he served on the UCLA Labor Center Advisory Board and was a member of the LA Trade Tech Labor Center faculty. He is a graduate of Loyola High School of Los Angeles, Loyola Marymount University, and earned a Master of Arts degree in Counseling from Eastern Michigan University.
