ABOUT ED CROWE

I\'m a senior global health strategist and operational leader with two decades of experience designing and directing prehospital healthcare systems in some of the world’s most complex environments. Through my work with the U.S. Air Force, I’ve led enterprise-scale Emergency Medical Services programs across 86 global sites, advised on policy at the intersection of defense and public health, and collaborated with foreign ministries, NGOs, and interagency partners to drive sustainable health outcomes- Directed multi-agency EMS operations integrating medical logistics, QA/QI programs, and prehospital clinical protocols—improving operational readiness and patient outcomes for over 500 personnel across multiple locations and mission sets- Modernized EMS training and education by developing and delivering advanced trauma, and ACLS programs to civilian and military providers—certifying over 800 personnel and increasing system-wide competency and survivability in high-risk environments- Led enterprise-level EMS system reform by managing multimillion-dollar medical assets, aligning clinical operations with regulatory standards, and advising command-level stakeholders—delivering strategic solutions now directly applicable to civilian EMS leadership, education, and program development.
