About Edward Cracchiola

Business Solutions Architect with responsibility in Business Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, Governance and Applications. My role is to work with leadership to ensure the goals of the business are enabled by the technology decisions we make. I manage the frameworks and principles we use to create measurable outcomes that align with the business drivers and technology and security standards.Previously, I have worked in several different roles in different IT organizations. Moving from help desk to desktop analyst, server analyst and manager of desktop services allows me to understand the needs of each group and its relationships to the business, as well as understand the politics of each group. Doing each role as both a consultant and a full-time employee has helped me balance the needs for each group to the associated costs, in both time, money and resources, and still identify successful outcomes that take those needs into account. Then taking this history and continuing into technology architecture and Enterprise Architecture, taking a strategic role and communicating challenges and solutions to executive leadership helped show my creativity and vision. Having a Microsoft background but working in vendor agnostic solutions allows me the technical expertise to be able to communicate effectively to all team members but implement a solution that is right for the business, regardless of the vendor. Matching this with my expertise in strategic solutions these skills have allowed me to architect an environment which meets business expectations, is supportable by IT, can be enhanced through development and can be measured by analytics and is cost effective.
