ABOUT EDWARD CARRINGTON

Edward Carrington is the Impact Coordinator at VestGen Wealth Partners. In this role, he is primarily responsible for organizing the firm’s research efforts across asset classes. Ed facilitates VestGen’s manager relationships, including outreach to managers and maintaining the firm’s product material database. He is responsible for the administration and oversight of the research process, with a strong emphasis on technical report writing.Ed is also responsible for supporting our clients in their desire to have impact through their investments. In this capacity he researches investment platforms that offer capabilities for tailoring investments to client needs including Biblically Responsible Investing (BRI), Socially Responsible Investing (SRI), and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles. As a member of the investment team, Edward conducts due diligence on values-based products, ensuring alignment with client goals.Edward holds a Master’s in Environment and Sustainability from the University of Michigan, with a focus on Sustainable Systems Engineering, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Wheaton College. Before joining VestGen, he led the research behind Michigan’s public internet infrastructure sustainability plan.
