ABOUT MARK ROBINSON

Highly experienced technology and innovation professional who can demonstrate direct impact on business growth across all the companies & projects I have been involved with. Pathfinder teacher in UK, pioneering use of digital technologies and Internet in learning and acting as consultant to major national and EU ICT initiatives. Won multiple awards for use of technology in education, class teaching and education product innovation. As an R&D director was responsible for key elements of the design & development of a very large scale & pioneering web service for students & teachers. The service grew from to 2.2 million education users while I was in this role. As a Senior Instructional Designer, led the specification and development of the of largest ever implementation of standards based, multimedia content using SCORM & IMS standards. The content division, in which I led creative and technology developments, grew to generate the bulk of company revenues over this time. As Executive Producer for the world\'s leading education publisher I generated strategic responses to national policy changes on assessment & led or contributed to the design of a number of very popular and curriculum schemes, assessments & digital products. As Group Head of Software & Product Management for the global technology company Promethean, I helped introduce new product management & ISO quality processes to the fast growing company. I led the specification of major new products & revisions along with their GTM plans, associated marketing initiatives & alliance programs. In my time managing product for Promethean the company secured explosive international growth, expanded from serving a handful of countries to distributing a diverse product portfolio to over 100 countries & seeing revenues multiply dramatically. In my strategy & consulting roles in industry, I work with leaders, policy makers and academics to support digitally led innovations.
