Resourceful | Team Player | Passionate Undergraduate student in Business Management In Technology (BMIT) with a minor in Mining Engineering and Management at South Dakota School of Mines and Technology (SDSMT). Research Intern at Caterpillar MineStar Consortium-CatLab. My role as a research intern involves collaborating on several projects, working with a team to create plans/guidelines and solutions, working with Caterpillar data and sponsors. As a WiSE (Women in Science & Engineering) Peer Mentor, I worked independently and collaboratively with my mentees, assisting with the many resources and services available to them at South Dakota Mines, helping them navigate the complexities of academic life and build a strong foundation for success.My passion lies in leveraging technology to enhance the efficiency of systems, project management, and products—President of SHPE SDSMT chapter. Advocate in the first Hill Day hosted by SHPE to meet members of Congress and their senior staff in Washington to advocate for investments in STEM education for Hispanics. My role as president for my SHPE school chapter consists of engaging with the community, creating activities and plans to support first-generation students, and all the challenges in STEM education for Hispanics.Check my recent article here:
