About Eduardo Favila
Hyperion Materials & Technologies was created as a result of KKR acquiring Sandvik Hyperion in July 2018. I started my career in Sandvik back in June 2001. I am a senior business leader with strong global commercial experience, particularly with engaging multi cultural cross functional teams, product management, global strategic planning, new product development, and demand generation. I have had the opportunity to enjoy living, working, growing, and delivering global recovery and transformation results for the company while being based in China, United States & Mexico. I have had the opportunity as well to successfully lead a number of different transformation roles in my career from Business, Operations, Engineering, Marketing, Product Management to Chairman of the board while being the Manager Director of our China and now Mexico branch allowing me to apply my skills of process improvement, team leadership, and strategy deployment to a broad variety of global business challenges. In my current role, I am leading our Mexico Site to become the role model site of the company by establishing and performing World Class standard processes through focusing on Safety and team engagement. Areas of Expertise: Strategy deployment optimizing to different market cycles, Team engagement, Pricing & Positioning Strategy, Strategic Planning, New Product Development & Commercialization, Global Team Leadership, Growth Process Improvement, Product Lifecycle Management, Innovation, Brand Management, Channel Management and Coaching and Mentoring, Cemented Tungsten Carbide manufacturing processes with the overall goal to deliver products with high quality and consistency.
