As a Police Sergeant with the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office, I bring over 7 years of dedicated law enforcement service, leadership, and specialized investigative expertise. My career has been defined by professionalism, accountability, and a commitment to public safety through both frontline policing and complex criminal investigations.Prior to my promotion, I served as a Traffic Homicide Detective, where I became a subject matter expert in traffic crash reconstruction and traffic homicide investigations. Over the course of more than four years, I conducted in-depth, technical investigations into fatal and serious injury crashes, providing expert courtroom testimony that withstood rigorous legal scrutiny. My role required not only advanced crash reconstruction techniques but also clear communication of complex findings to judges, juries, and legal professionals.My career began as a Police Officer with the Miami-Dade County Police Department, where I developed a strong foundation in patrol operations, community engagement, and tactical response. These experiences shaped my ability to lead from the front, make critical decisions under pressure, and train future officers in both practical policing and investigative excellence.Now, as a Sergeant, I focus on leadership, mentorship, and operational oversight, ensuring my team upholds the highest standards of integrity and effectiveness in serving our community.
