ABOUT AURÉLIE SOULIER

Digital learning leader | Project & product manager | Expert in open-source learning platforms | Stakeholder-led changeI’m a digital education and learning technology specialist with 19 years’ experience delivering impactful digital education solutions across higher education, edtech, and the public sector. With a background in education and computing, I bridge the gap between technical systems and meaningful learning experiences.I’ve held roles across the UK and internationally, including at Moodle HQ, Catalyst IT, and multiple UK universities. My work spans platform governance, ePortfolio development, digital service management, and large-scale learning platform implementations using Moodle, Totara, and Mahara. I have extensive experience delivering training, user support, and creating clear, accessible documentation for diverse audiences. In previous contract roles, I’ve led cross-functional teams as a product owner, project manager, and community engagement lead, using Agile and Lean approaches to deliver stakeholder-driven improvements and sustainable change. My interests include digital assessment and feedback, inclusive learning design, and building communities of practice around open-source tools. I\'m also passionate about coaching, mentoring, and supporting digital confidence across teams. When I’m not working on digital learning, I’m probably somewhere on a trail. I’m an amateur ultrarunner, and long-distance hiker; I often lead friends on group hikes across the UK. These adventures ground me and reflect my values of persistence, planning, and collective achievement.
