I lead Deloitte\'s Growth team for our Government & Public Services practice in the UK. The team is responsible for communications, marketing and client engagement. It also includes our Public Sector Bid Unit that supports our commercial relationship with government as a strategic supplier.From within the team, I deliver Deloitte\'s government and public services thought leadership including our flagship \'State of the State\' report that has become the firm\'s most downloaded and most shared industry publication.My additional duties include chairing Deloitte\'s Global Eminence Council and advising its firms around the world on thought leadership and engagement with government. I also work across Deloitte\'s public affairs and public policy teams, regularly representing the firm on public forums as well as in meetings with officials and elected representatives.I was promoted to Director in June 2020.

I\'m a communications, research and public affairs professional with 20 years\' experience of working in and around the public sector.At Deloitte, I lead our government and public services research which includes producing our annual flagship \'State of the State\' report. My wider responsibilities include managing the marketing, communications and other external-facing functions for Deloitte\'s public sector business.Before this job, I was head of communications at the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA), a global public sector accountancy body that supports better financial management in public institutions.And before that, I led government relations and other communications functions for an educational awarding body, a local government improvement agency and the UK\'s largest voluntary sector social care provider.
