ABOUT EDRIANNE-ALEXA TUMANENG
All views and opinions expressed are my own and are not reflective of those of Environment and Climate Change Canada and/or the Government of Canada. I am a chemical engineering graduate from the University of Toronto, with minors in Environmental Engineering and Engineering Business. In the past, I have worked in different research, project management and databasing capacities with the federal government, the Royal Ontario Museum, the University of Toronto and Toronto Metropolitan University, accruing 6+ years of experience. I am interested in urban environmental issues and solutions, and geared my degree toward equipping myself with knowledge in sustainable development, infrastructure and stakeholder analysis, including completing a Certificate in Global Engineering as a University of Toronto Global Scholar.I have held executive positions across extracurricular clubs and non-profits focusing on social and environmental sustainability. During my undergraduate degree, I held executive positions on the national team of Global Spark and in the University of Toronto chapters of the Sustainable Engineers Association and Engineers without Borders, as well as our Engineering Society. Following my graduation, I was a member of the Youth Advisory Council of the Jane Goodall Institute of Canada.
