He is currently serving as Stantec’s North America Wet Weather Sector Leader. In this role, Mr. Othmer:• Develops the direction of the Practice and strategies for achieving it;• Establishes challenging agreed-upon growth goals;• Tracks, leads and/or participates in major project pursuits;• Maintained regular and close communications with the Global Practice Leader, and Operations Management;• Identifies Practice-related staffing needs;• Facilitates resolution of conflicts; and• Distributes state-of-the-practice research information and other information to stormwater practitioners and key staff across firm.Mr. Othmer has made effective communications and collaboration across Stantec offices a personal priority, ensuring Stantec is successful in achieving financial and growth objectives. Mr. Othmer is responsible for providing staff and other resources to deliver major contracts. Mr. Othmer identifies emerging markets, develops pursuit plans, prepositions for new opportunities, establishes teaming arrangements, cross-sells services, develops new services, identifies key hires, negotiates contracts, and has the authority to fulfill contractual obligations and commit company resources to ensure clients are provided superior service. Mr. Othmer also serves as client liaison to assure responsiveness to project needs and client satisfaction.
