Expert in scaling sustainable processes from nanoscale ultra-pure synthesis to bulk recycled materials handling, advanced controls, custom instrumentation/electrical design, nanoparticle synthesis/characterization, and bridging experimental work with computational modeling/digital twins.At CleanFiber I\'ve operated as a primary independent contributor- Spearheaded development and creation of plant wide P & ID drawings, created the asset ID system for capitalized equipment and instrumentation- Spearheaded SCADA historian integration- Developed automated process analysis reporting- Lead $20M+ capital projects for solids dryer and material handling systems, owning electrical/controls scope from design/commissioning to SCADA/PLC integration- Implemented advanced controls like Smith predictor control in material handling, cascade control for drying, and phase locked rotor control for solids blending mass flow stabilization- Developed and built novel solutions/insights: Optical dust quantification using image processing and laser sheet, photograph based size and shape analysis of bulk solids, characteristic drying rate curves, bench/pilot scale unit operations development (comminution, size classification, elutriation). Pervasive use of 3D additive manufacturing technology.At Dimien, independently managed hydrothermal reactor for thermochromic nanoparticles. Designed custom reaction nozzle, increasing uptime from minutes to months. Developed downstream processes for particle encapsulation and recovery. Integrated new material characterization methods for data driven decision making.
