Contribute in development and implementation of global category strategies based on knowledge of local market, suppliers and local stakeholders needs- Collaborate with peers to document and share best practices across all categories and continuously improve approach, methodology and efficiency- Manage business relationships with key internal stakeholders and external suppliers including routine improvements to agreements, communication of demand/volume changes, updating contracts and sharing end-user feedback- Create/identify cost saving opportunities through competitive bidding- Negotiate price, contract terms and conditions- Develop a customized Country portfolio procurement strategy that connects AbbVie’s commercial strategy with the corresponding procurement support- Perform industry research to understand the supplier landscape, cost drivers, and procurement challenges- Define best sources of supply for the business that meet customer needs, quality, and cost competitiveness- Establish service levels and jointly work with relevant stakeholders to measure and monitor supplier’s performance- Develop strong, ethical relationships with suppliers and ensure that activities surrounding dealing with suppliers are conducted under the AbbVie’s Supplier Code of Conduct.
