ABOUT EDMUND X. LOUGHRAN

With 26 years of service in the US Air Force and US Special Operations Command, I strive to bring a strong work ethic as a seasoned leader and educator to organizations that take care of its people & make the world a better place.As a Fellow at The Honor Foundation & Special Operations Transition Foundation, I leveraged my experience, network and skills as a retiring Colonel to prepare for a successful transition to the private sector, and pursue experiences that push boundaries and embrace the unknown.Currently I am the Commander of the Air Force’s Special Warfare Training Group in San Antonio, Texas, where I oversee the production of the next generation of elite warriors. I have developed and applied competencies in operational planning, organizational leadership, and military leadership to lead teams and missions vital to the organization\'s success. Last but certainly not least, I am humbled by the incredible heroes I serve alongside and grateful for the opportunities I have to learn and grow as a follower and a leader. I am driven by a mission to help those most in need and to go where others do not.
