During my design career, I have gained a high level of practical engineering knowledge enabling me to negotiate, challenge and agree solutions with Senior Engineers. I have accumulated many years of experience in the design industry, ranging from Product, Transportation, Boat to Automotive. My experience has primarily been in concept ideation, design development to production deliveries with a strong bias towards design for manufacture.Key responsibility in my current role is delivering interior designs to production whilst ensuring the highest quality and integrity that fully support the brand values. I am expected to lead, motivate and encourage a team of Designers to develop new and novel ideas and challenge conventional thinking in problem solving, at the same time, giving direction to supporting disciplines within the studio environment, building a strong connection with component engineering and manufacturing across the business which includes regular interface with the Design Project Managers and Team Leaders; as well as other senior personnel from Manufacturing, Marketing, Suppliers and the Chief Program Engineer.
