ABOUT EDWARD M. SHEEHAN

I have been operating in the pest control industry in some manner or other my entire adult life (29 years at this point). In that time I have implemented & maintained pest control strategies in accounts as diverse as Zoos, Sports Stadiums, Racetracks, Health Care Facilities, Parks, Restaurants, Warehouses, Multiple Family Housing, and Private Homes.I have at various times applied federally controlled pesticides in 5 states (NY, NJ,PA, CT, AZ) I have had an operational/managerial role in 4 of those 5 states at one point or another.I have attended several lectures by Austin Frishman, Robert Corrigan, Michael Potter, Jeff O\'Neil and other nationally accredited pest management authorities.I was vetted and approved as an instructor of apprentice pesticide applicators in legal & regulatory mandates as well as best field practices by the NYSDEC (New York State Department of Environmental Conservation) as well as NJDEP (New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection). I am in the process of becoming vetted by Arizona Office of Pest Management.On a more personal level, I do all these things because I enjoy figuring things out. Where insects hide, how they thrive, and how we thwart them, is all just a jigsaw puzzle, or a game of tetris. Tetris actually makes more sense, because when I fit all the pieces together perfectly, you see NOTHING. I held certification in six categories in NY (3a, 5b, 7a,c,f, & 8) with reciprocity in NJ until recently.I currently hold Qualifying Applicator certifications A1, Aa2 & A2b in AZ. I just received my Associate Certified Entomologist status with the Entomological Society of America.
