Hired as a Senior Engineering Manager at One Medical, title changed to SDM at Amazon (same role)Currently leading two small teams focused on improving the member experience with billing, insurance collection, and appointment booking (MySQL, Ruby on Rails, GraphQL, Angular, Swift, Kotlin, React Native). Contributed directly to the Amazon Health Services annual goals for insurance collection rates and appointments booked.Led a tiger team in the One Medical side of a high-priority, high-visibility integration project with Amazon Health to rebuild our onboarding flow and add Login With Amazon (LWA) to our patient portal and mobile apps. Led the team through scoping, design, implementation, testing, and delivery phases. Delivered reusable login and registration flow primitives that were immediately used as building blocks by other teams.Delivered a project that added additional MFA factors within 2 months of joining the company. This reduced the number of member accounts who were unable to use MFA by 50%.Led hiring for my team. Managed between 8 and 18 engineers, including one interim manager. Developed employees through a combination of timely feedback and right-sized challenges.
