I am a software developer focusing on web applications. My areas of interest include usability, web-based communities, human-centered design, and work-flow optimization. This means I\'m a forward looking developer, current with the latest web trends, and on the lookout for new and interesting evolutions. I\'ve designed and developed applications, using technologies such as Ruby on Rails, Java, JSP, PHP, and Javascript programming, backed by MySQL, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases, running mostly on Linux. However, I recognize the rapid pace of technological advancement, and am quick to learn the latest and greatest. Right now, I\'m keen on usability and human-centered design techniques and how they apply when building work-flow oriented applications. I am making software that is easy to use, and therefore hope to help people be more productive and less frustrated. I accomplish this by focusing on the user experience, trying to bridge the theoretical and practical.
