About Ed Murphy
I am an arbitrator and trial lawyer with extensive international and domestic experience in litigation and arbitration, serving both as an advocate and as an arbitrator. I advise clients on maritime operations and chartering matters, and I have tried numerous jury and bench trials to verdict throughout the United States. I have also participated in the defense of clients in international venues. I have been involved in more than 100 arbitrations in the United States and abroad. I am a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitration, a member of the American Arbitration Association Commercial Panel, and I serve on several domestic and international arbitration panels.I have served as an arbitrator since 2019 and have been transitioning my practice to focus primarily on arbitration.
