ABOUT EDISON MUKADAH

I am a lead software engineer who has successfully led cross functional agile teams in the delivery of complex software projects.I have served in the role of a Principal Lead Software Engineer where I gave end to end guidance on software solutions across multiple engineering teams.My experience is across a wide range of technical disciplines, covering the full spectrum of software systems design and development, application security, data, network and infrastructure architecture.I have mostly worked as a full stack engineer on N tier architectures using different programming languages on different platforms, predominantly using Java, Java EE, Spring and Springboot backends with Angular and React frontends on linux systems to deliver customer solutions. I am currently working as a Staff/Lead Cloud & Devops engineer on a Machine Learning and AI product offering that is a market lead in its segment.Some specialized areas I have experience in include : • DataScience and Machine Learning • Automation, Perfomance and Load Testing• Big Data processing using ETL • Large scale asynchronous event driven systems • Multi-media software applications that render voice or video in realtime within a telecommunication context.• Data warehousing, dimensional modelling and business intelligence reporting • Usage of Cryptography, OAuth and SSO, Strong Authentication, Biometric Authentication, Facial-Recognition and ICAP protocol antivirus solutions to secure software applications• DevSecOps• Profiling and performance optimization of large scale systems.I am extremely fascinated by the challenges that occur in highly concurrent and large scale distributed systems where I get to constantly learn new concepts and technics.
