As a Lead Data Engineer with over 15 years of experience, my journey has been driven by a deep passion for innovation and strategic application of data technologies. In my current role at Neon Pagamentos, I lead critical data lake and data platform projects, harnessing cutting-edge technologies such as Kubernetes, Apache Spark, Trino, Airflow and aws tools in our advanced engineering practices. My tenure at Magazine Luiza was marked by a pioneering role in establishing their data lake, leveraging tools like GCP and BigQuery, at a time when the concept was still nascent in the industry. This role at Neon allowed me to build and steer a team in transforming data accessibility and utilization, fostering a culture centered around democratic and strategic use of data. Holding a degree in Computer Science from Universidade Paulista and postgraduate studies in Big Data Analysis from FIA, my educational journey has been complemented by various courses in Big Data, Machine Learning, and AWS. This blend of formal education and continuous learning has been fundamental in honing my skills for effective leadership and ongoing innovation. Beyond technical expertise, I am a dedicated leader, managing multifunctional teams and spearheading complex projects. My focus extends to cultivating a growth mindset within my team, positioning us at the forefront of technological advancements and innovative solutions. In my personal time, I engage in exploring new technologies and sharing knowledge in data and leadership. I also find balance in connecting with nature, traversing mountains, beaches, and waterfalls, and indulging in cycling, street running, and recently, virtual automobilism. These pursuits underscore my belief in the power of collaboration, technical acumen, and continuous learning as catalysts for success in any dynamic environment.
