ABOUT EDIALE ODIA
Hi, I\'m Ediale Odia — a Junior CS student at the University of Maryland with a passion for software engineering, AI, and machine learning. I\'m looking for internship opportunities where I can keep building meaningful tech and leveling up my skills. One of my most meaningful experiences so far was at Bitcamp 2025, one of the largest hackathons on the East Coast. In just 36 hours, I co-developed SkinForReal — a GenAI-powered skincare app that won Best Use of GenAI in Business, sponsored by Microsoft x Cloudforce. The app analyzes daily selfies to detect breakouts, dryness, and irritation using the Azure Face API, then connects those results to product use and lifestyle data through TerpAI to deliver real-time, personalized skin health insights. We\'re also planning to launch a community-driven feature called Skin School, where users can learn from others who share similar skin types and textures. I led backend development and built the product-tracking logic, while also contributing to our pitch strategy. That experience taught me how much I love building fast, meaningful tools that merge AI, health, and real-world design especially when they help people.
