ABOUT EDGAR RODRIGUEZ
An upcoming Electronic Journalism major with a focus on Sports Broadcasting and minoring in Sports Business Management at the University of Central Florida. I am currently working on gaining as much experience as possible, as well as networking with professionals in the field to position myself in the best position heading into what is such a competitive field.I\'ve had the honor of working with the likes of UCF Athletics as a PA Announcer, serving as the voice for UCF Soccer and Tennis, as well as voicing the 2024 UCF Football welcome video played before every home game. I have also been involved with the Nona Soccer Academy as a host and producer of the \"Nona Sports Show,\" producer of the \"Nona Sports Cast\" and a social media personality for the clubs official Instagram account. In addition, I am the current play-by-play commentator for their USL 2 team, Nona FC. These experiences have led me to continue pursuing a career in professional sports media and journalism, and have given me a platform to start gaining experience at an early stage in my journey. I continuously seek opportunities that will challenge me to keep improving, learning and refining my craft!
