About Edgar M. Grajeda
I am a bilingual educator and Fulbright Scholar with over a decade of experience teaching in some of the most high-need school districts in the United States. As a first-generation immigrant from Guadalajara, Mexico, my work is grounded in educational equity, multilingual education, and advocacy for immigrant students and families. I have taught across grade levels and content areas—from visual arts to elementary homeroom—and currently focus on serving Spanish-speaking and immigrant communities. I hold graduate degrees in Educational Studies and Policy Management, and my writing and leadership explore the intersection of classroom practice, education policy, and systems-level change.
