El Paso, Texas. • Wall Tile Manufacturing Plant • Responsible of daily basis operations of all departments are manufactured in a correct, cost effective and timely manner in alignment with specifications and quality requirements. With a production facility of 24/7 with 6 production lines that produced an average of 210K sq.ft by day. • Managed a staff of 25 salaried employees and 250+ hourly employees. • Organized plant operations according to the company’s policies, regulations, and standard procedures. Established safe equipment and work place. • Establishes a baseline that monitors overall plant performance. Manages plant performance improvements based on Key Performance Indicator (KPI) measurements. • Develops plant goals and works with and through subordinate associates to achieve results. Works with Operations, Maintenance and Quality Managers to achieve goals. • Responsible of monitoring the Productivity Savings Projects objectives to achieve the savings goal at the end of year. • Responsible of Monitoring the Capital Investment Projects for the plant in order to continue improving in all the different areas upgrading machinery, reducing cost and improving the cost per sq.ft. • Focus on talent and organizational development, develop an effective succession planning process, and creates a culture focused on continuous improvement with Lean Manufacturing (Kaizen Events)/Six Sigma Tools. • Implementation of the Technical Operator Concept at the Plant to improve Productivity and reduce Direct and Indirect labor cost. • Review, Prepare and Present Annual Plant Budget to Corporate to implement every year to define the new KPI’s to achieve for the Plant in order to control the Plant. • Control of manpower vs. workload – Review amount of people to workload. Authority to hire staff within budget plan and authority to approve overtime hours within budget constraints • Ensure all ISO accreditations are maintained
