ABOUT EDGAR GRANADOS
Former student-athlete and aspiring counselor passionate about supporting at-risk youth through mentorship, guidance, and the life lessons found in sport. With over six years of coaching experience across various age groups, I\'ve used soccer to develop technical and tactical skills and resilience, discipline, and character in young athletes.Through my high school and club roles, I\'ve worked with players ages 5 to 18—designing individualized training sessions, fostering team culture, and leading life talks that connect the game to broader personal development. My coaching philosophy is rooted in empowering youth to succeed on the field and thrive in their futures off the field—whether in college, career, or life.Currently pursuing a Master\'s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Concordia University Irvine, I aim to combine my background in psychology, competitive athletics, and mentoring to work directly with underserved and vulnerable youth populations. Whether through counseling or coaching, I am committed to creating safe spaces where young people can grow, be challenged, and ultimately reach their full potential.
