I have a Bachelor\'s Degree in Biochemistry with a Minor in Labor and Workplace Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles. As a first-generation Latino, I take pride in my education and hope to inspire others who are passionate about science.During my academic career, I gained a solid foundation in laboratory work. I had the opportunity to work at the UCLA IMMUNOGENETICS center, where I learned to cultivate and prepare cell cultures, extract DNA from spleens, and perform cell counts.After graduation, I was fortunate to work with Perkin Elmer as an RNA technologist to help combat the pandemic. I then joined Atlas Genomics, which partnered with Warner Brothers and honed my skills as a Molecular technologist during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Currently, I work full-time with The Wound Pros, where we specialize in Bacterial and Fungal testing using PCR Analysis for hospice patients, doing our part in bringing affordable and reliable healthcare to those in need. Our mission is to \"heal and treat wounds from coast to coast.\"
