Edgar A. Morales currently serves as Assistant Secretary and Senior Counsel Manager for Texas Instruments Incorporated, a Fortune 200 global technology manufacturer with design, manufacturing, and sales operations in more than 30 countries and a market cap exceeding $175 billion. Edgar is a seasoned business attorney with 15 years of law firm, in-house, and international experience, and is a trusted advisor to senior executive leaders across a wide array of disciplines, including corporate governance, public company reporting, cross-border M&A, commercial and strategic transactions, financing transactions, contract negotiations, privacy and cybersecurity, licensing, government affairs, and regulatory and compliance issues. Edgar currently manages a team advising senior executive leaders and TI’s Board of Directors on corporate governance, Audit Committee matters, SEC reporting, investor relations, trading compliance, finance, treasury, subsidiary management, equity compensation, and competition issues. Edgar was elected as Secretary to the Audit Committee of TI’s Board of Directors, as Secretary to the Texas Instruments Foundation and its Audit, Governance, and Investment Committees, and has served as Chair of TI\'s Antitrust Committee. His experience at TI also includes serving as the senior counsel to three global business units in TI’s $15B Analog business, three global business units in TI’s $3B Embedded business, and completing a two-year international expatriate assignment in Europe. Prior to joining TI, Edgar was an attorney at Vinson & Elkins LLP, where he worked on private equity and M&A transactions in the corporate group. In the community, Edgar serves as a director on several non-profit boards and committees. Edgar earned degrees from Columbia Law School, Harvard\'s Kennedy School, and UT Austin.
