My name is Eden York, and I am a fourth-year Interior Design student at Auburn University, pursuing a Bachelor of Consumer and Design Science through Auburn\'s CIDA-accredited Interior Design Program. From my perspective, design is not just a profession; it’s a universal language that can impact the lives of everyone. I firmly believe that well-thought-out design has the power to enhance the human experience, making lives more beautiful, functional, and harmonious. This belief fuels my passion for becoming a designer. Auburn University has provided me with a solid foundation and skill set through coursework in space planning, lighting, construction documents, residential design, commercial design, healthcare design, and hospitality design. This has strengthened my proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Enscape, Microsoft Suite, and Adobe Suite. I am particularly interested in working in the hospitality design field and am eager to learn more!
