ABOUT EDEN FENTA
Throughout my high school career, I had always been fond of public health, and coming to UW, I was eager to dive into the field and learn more about it. During the fall quarter, I was enrolled in Global Health 101, where I explored the burden of infectious disease and the outcomes of global health interventions on underserved communities. This course provided me with the foundation I needed to understand a critical goal of public health: promoting the welfare of all. With my Bachelors degree in Public Health-Global Health, I hope to partake in research alleviating health disparities in third world countries and purse an MPH degree.
