In this role, I mainly:* Support the update Programme of the 2008 SNA and BPM6 contributing to related technical research and assist in the implementation of the new macroeconomic standards - the 2025 SNA and BPM7.* Support the Committee on Contributions (CoC) and the Fifth Committee in the development of the UN budget scale of assessments.* Oversee the national accounts estimation data work programme.* Support the Official Data Team in tasks related to national accounts official data.* Assist in the preparation of written outputs such as handbooks manuals reports and briefing notes.* Assess Progress on SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic GrowthOther tasks include- Designing, organizing, planning and managing the collection, evaluation, analysis, compilation and dissemination of statistical data- Developing, implementing and managing statistical database(s)- Assist in training and technical support on data collection programmes, country practices and other related information- Assist in the development or revision of standards on statistical concepts, definitions and classifications by performing methodological research- Prepare draft technical documents for international, intergovernmental and expert group meetings and assists in drafting relevant reports- Assist in the organization of seminars, working groups and expert meetings- Guide, train and supervise general service and professional staff in the function.
