Global Savings Group (GSG) is Europe’s largest shopping rewards company with an international footprint in more than 20 markets. We create rewarding moments for consumers and empower them to make the best shopping decisions in a smart, fair, and enjoyable way. Formed and led the global Technology function across multiple brands and business units, consisting of 170+ frontend, backend, mobile, data, DevOps, ERP, and IT Ops engineers distributed globally across multiple hubs. Shaped, managed, and mentored an exceptional Tech Leadership team by identifying and promoting existing talent and hiring externally, removing silos, and driving high standards across the board. Initiated and rolled out tech transformation, raising the bar in Quality, DevOps, Security and Agility across all Tech teams. Launched the delivery of a unified GSG Platform utilising modern cloud-native architecture and aiming to replace multiple legacy monolithic systems, reducing waste, improving user experience, and allowing an easy launch of multiple product offerings in any market “with a click of a button”. Initiated, coordinated, and delivered a companywide Tech efficiency programme resulting in >4.5m EUR cost savings p.a.
