About Eddie Randle
I currently anchor KSN Today and joined the team in January 2022.Prior to joining the KSN team, I worked at 9NEWS, in Denver, Colorado, for five years.In my time there, I covered several national stories including the Boulder King Soopers mass shooting in 2021.I spent the majority of my time in Denver reporting and anchoring on the morning and noon shows so I’m no stranger to waking early. Before moving to Colorado, I worked at FOX23 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, reporting and breaking viral stories like the 80-year-old grandmother pepper-sprayed by Muskogee police after they entered her home looking for a suspect.I earned my first Emmy award reporting on tornados and the aftermath in northeast Oklahoma.I began my reporting career working for KSN’s sister station, KFDX in Wichita Falls, Texas, which is also my hometown.My love for journalism started in grade school when I started doing morning announcements!I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where I also earned a Master of Arts in Broadcast Journalism.I love musical theater. At Southern University, I also earned a Minor in Vocal Performance. During my junior year, me and members of the Southern University Concert Choir performed Verdi’s Requiem with various chorus’ at Carnegie Hall.I love highlighting local businesses and telling stories on addiction and recovery.
